The BMW x VAGABUND CE 02 “eParkourer” is a custom electric two-wheeler that builds upon the unique futuristic design of the original CE 02. This one-off creation features several modifications that enhance its distinct appearance. These include a custom suede saddle, a bespoke LED headlight with a custom cowl, and a unique rear mount carrying a Teenage Engineering OB-4 Magic Radio. The bike also sports a custom perforated battery cover positioned above a small luggage rack, and custom-machined floorboards with a perforated motif. Its faux high-mount scrambler-style exhaust cleverly conceals an umbrella in Vagabund’s signature yellow color.
While maintaining the stock CE 02’s core specs, the eParkourer showcases design elements that set it apart. The bike retains its 11.18kW (15hp) motor, 48-volt battery with a 55-mile range, and multiple ride modes. However, Vagabund has employed a strategic use of color and finishes to highlight different aspects of the bike. The frame is painted in gloss black, contrasting with a bare alloy battery cover. One side of the front wheel is finished in white, and a custom Vagabund-branded support bracket for the front fender is done in yellow. These design choices, combined with the retained aero wheel disc covers and TFT display, create a unique blend of retro and futuristic look.
