The latest version of Apple’s flagship smartphones may look identical to its predecessor, but the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus boast serious hardware upgrades. The most significant is the force-sensitive 3D Touch that allows users to pull up new menus and access shortcuts and gestures from both the home screen and apps. There’s also a faster A9 processor, a 12 megapixel rear camera sensor, a 5 megapixel front camera sensor that uses the display as a flash, faster autofocus, and 4k video shooting and editing. The phones also sport a stronger display glass and new aluminum alloy body, available in Silver, Gold, Space Gray, and new for 2015, Rose Gold.
