A fantastical follow-up to the fantastic first film sees Hiccup and friends five years older, though not necessarily wiser. Our hero experiences wanderlust heads off in search of adventure and new lands and inadvertently finds himself at the center of a battle along with a Star Wars-like “I am your father, Luke” moment. But with his mother. The scenery and cinematography seem as spectacular as ever, the laughs even bigger and all nicely packaged in 3D. Looks like Dreamworks have another hit on their hands.
