After a year since release in Europe, U.S. riders will finally get their paws on the Harley-Davidson XR1200X ($12,000). This sportster is propelled by a 1200cc fuel-injected, air-cooled V-twin engine that outputs 74 ft-lbs of torque at 4000 rpm. It features a wide flat-track handlebar, Nissin dual 292mm floating rotors, high-volume 2-1-2 straight-shot exhaust, Showa Big Piston front forks with adjustable rebound complemented by dual Showa rear shocks with 36mm pistons and piggyback nitrogen-charged reservoirs.
