After the success of the bladeless fans that are perfect for quietly cooling a room in the summer, the folks at Dyson thought it’s only natural to follow it up with fan that can heat a room during the cold winter months. The Dyson Hot Fan Heaters ($430) employ that same Air Multiplier technology that accelerates air through an aperture, this time to create a jet of hot air, which then passes over an airfoil-shaped ramp to amplify the flow of air up to six time. And unlike stationary floor heaters, the Hot Fans feature an oscillating neck to distribute the heat evenly, variable airflow, 1°C to 37°C precision temperature control and an included remote that’s magnetized to easily mount on the unit for storage.
