Finally, we’re a step closer to having an iPhone in our dashboards, and a step away from non-intuitive and sluggish proprietary infotainment systems. Automakers, including Hyundai, Honda, Volvo, Mercedes, Jaguar and Ferrari will allow their infotainment system in their vehicles to use CarPlay — a device that will seamlessly integrate an iPhone and give handsfree access to maps, music, messages, phone calls and more using Siri and car’s controls.
