Panasonic’s latest additon to its G-series may be more compact than its predecessors, but this micro four-thirds compact digital camera offers more controls and features any creative photographer will appreciate. The Panasonic Lumix DX1 ($700) features a 16.01-megapixel Live MOS sensor with advanced noise reduction system to produce high-quality images with minimal noise, 12,800 ISO for low-light conditions, the Venus Engine image processor for full -size shooting at 4.2fps, a built-in flash, and 1080p video recording, all packed in a black or silver body.
